- Weeks 1 & 3: Have you ever explored your city? Would you be able to map your neighbourhood?
We will begin by playing transform the city, changing everything we don't like. Then we will use one or more spaces in Medialab to ask the kids to suggest a piece of funiture or a space specifically designed for kids and youngsters. In the second part of the week we will learn the basics on 3D printing and modeling, and the possibilities of digital manufacturing, in order to design and build a prototype of the piece of furniture the group has agrred on fabricating.

- Weeks 2 & 4: Why are cities so boring? What would happen if the city was a huge videogame?
We are going to create imaginary cities and learn to design them with digital tools. This way, we will identify the cities' needs in order to make them more fun.
And then we will swap the keyboard for the saw and the hammer. We will take our ideas into practice and build a real-size piece of furniture or structure for Medialab.
